Anybody out there run and train on the same day? the only time i have to do either is in the evening after work and i'm wondering if it's better to run before working out, or vice versa?

This comes out of Men's Fitness Magazine Jan 2001, pg. 110 issue:

"Unless it is the primary focus of your training, do cardio after, not before, you lift weights. Or do it during another part of the day, or better still, on a separate day. 'As a general rule, strength training has less of am impact on cardio than cardio has on strength training'"

And by the way, I am not a geek that just sits around and quotes magazines all the time - This issue has my year round workout program "2001-A Body Odyssey" which I refer back to often.
