as a beg. you could see results very quickly...infact within the first week or so...

Which programme r you talking about....if its the 12 week mass thing, then theres results within as less as 2 weeks.

Muff_man_aj, Of course getting results are great and everyone enjoys them. But that shouldn't be your main reason for lifting. Gains will happen but thinking constently about them is going to make this venture very hard mentally and could even set you up for failure. Lift for good health and set small gaols such as increasing your bench and/or curls by a certain amount of pounds or being able to sprint full force for 800 meters. It could be as well as being able to do an extra 5 sit ups. Set time frames and work towards meeting them. Everyone knows about goals and every body wants excellence but very few are willing to do it. Don't foucus everyday on seeing gains because it's not going to work that way. You must use other means as bench marks.
