I was wondering if you guys work out with a partner or by yourself? I usually work by myself unless I am training someone else - then I try to sneak in a work out along with them, but that is a little different. I think I could really benefit from having a partner.

Do any of you ever work with a trainer?

I haven't work with a trainer since HS. I do have a workout partner. My wife is one of the best partners I ever had, shes there to encourage me when I'm feeling down, and I'm there for her.

I used to work ouy by myself... and for the las 6 months or so I have a partner.... and came to conclusion that I`d rather work out by myself..
I can concentrate more...if I need a spot there`ll be always someone around to help me ...

I haven`t trained with a trainer.

you must choose the training partner whom youy feel is best for you, my best partner is my twin brother, I depend on him more than 50% in my workouts, and because both of us are so much into the sport, we never waste any time.

I used to work out by my self too, and my gains were low, since I have started with a partner I have seen an improvement because I can push my self to the limit. You need a partner as far as I am concerned.

Never had a trainer. I've trained people though.
I recommend everyone have a training partner. They push you through sticking points, you go heavier because you feel safer, they motovate you to work harder, you show up on days you feel down, just so you won't let them down. Training partners are a must for growth.

The longest working partnership I had lasted for 2 years. I got him started and he was a good help for awhile. But I was always the stronger lifter and the one who did all the pushing. I want another partner but I want to find one who is aggressive and stronger than me and dosen't want to talk about everything under the sun while training so I will have to work up to his level. That would be a great find for me. Partners can be a very good addition to your workout.
