What are some of the things that you use to inspire you and to keep you working out? I ask, because my roommate is just starting working out, but he slips up and needs some incentive (other than me telling him)

Any Ideas Here? Cheers

a lot people out there are too busy to workout or just don't feel like it...I don't train to look good as much as I do it to feel healthy and energized....I simply enjoy working out more than anything else...what he would want to do is organize a program that would suffice his needs for lets say the first 2 months like the one here in free T. there's a lot of programs out there that he could adapt to so easily. The benefits of weight training is unlimited and once he agrees to that he'll probably have more inspiration to to get those muslces pumped real good than ever before.

Be very supportive of your roommate and don't be afraid to complement his progress. A little encouragement and reinsurance can go a long way. If your giving your roommate any tips/advice be sure you're setting the example with your actions.

A little encouragement combined with reinsurance can take someone very far as long as the encourager sets the example -- be the path mower for others and lead them to success.

Be creative w/ trying to motivate but don't over do it. Your roommate is probably not as advanced as you. Pushing him to hard to early will turn s/he away from lifting.
