i am 18, and i have been reading alot of posts about dieting etc. I want to be big but cut, i am getting there, i am naturally skinny, so getting big is kinda hard, but its coming along. I live in europe, and drinking beer etc. on weekends is normal. I eat healthy, with high protein and shakes, but i was just wondering if beer on the weekends is really going to destrot my abs. I run and do cardio at least 30 min twice a week, and bike 10 min before each workout. Alot of people tell me that since im young it wont be that bad, but im just looking for some advise, i mean i dont do contests or anything, but i would like to still be big and cut...
thanx alot.

"I live in europe, and drinking beer etc. on weekends is normal."

Now what is that?!!! lol

Eric is your body and your life. Imagine the beers as a cheat meal and calculate it into your weekly diet. You need to set your goals and get enough proteins as well!

You are young yes, but that's not an excuse! (o;

In quebec beer is very popular, but not necessary!
Train hard and EAT well! Alcohol stops the fat burniing process.

I've read that alcohol elevates cortisol (thing that destroys muscle), lowers testosterone, and increases fat accumulation. But small amounts may not be that harmfull. It's your call.
