this last week, i got really busy and coulden't work out at all, but as soon as the next week started, i was back in the gym and working out again. i was just wonderng if that week i had to take off is going to mess up my program or not.

No, you can never get it back, so why worry about it! Each workout is an entity in itself, like each meal. For instance, if you skip a meal, you don't eat 2 meals the next time, or if you go off the diet and eat a cheat meal, you don't skip 2 meals to make it up. Just pick right back up and get back with the program. Just try not to make it a habit! Then in can ruin lots of hard work.
