Greetings to All,

My nick maybe Guitarlove, but I am AKA John R.
I am going on 51, and just starting to train again
after about a 25/26 years vacation. Not that I haven't
been doing nothing, but I was pretty close to being a CP.
Anyway, feels great to be back with the weights, and FT
really looks like they set-up a good program for me.
I'll spend the energy and time and work the program hard...

My stats:
Age 51, Wt 237, Height 6'1", Neck 17.5",
Waist Err can I fib..nah won't do it - 41"
gotta measure the arms and chest not sure....
Anyway, I hope to lose about 40 lbs, and reduce waist
to about 32 to 34"
and add a couple (or more) inches to arms and chest
and shoulders

Hope to see all on the boards..
Thanks, John R.

Welcome John,
I was in similar situation about 15 months ago. I found the book, "Body for Life" by Bill Phillips and it really helped me with the diet and how much to exercise, etc. I lost 80lbs of fat and gained over 20lbs of muscle in abuot 11 months. (38lb of fat in the first 3 months) This sight has been very helpful in my ongoing training and new lifestyle. Good luck and happy training.

Hello I too have started training again after about twenty years. I found that I have to be very careful about how hard I push myself and about how much rest I get. Good Luck CaptBilly
