I thought that would get your attention.

I am looking at the posts in this catagory and thinking to myself, "With all of our years of experience and knowledge, why are we not sharing it." What I am trying to say is that we need to speak up in here. I am sure some us may be having midlife crisis', hurting joints, etc, etc. I would really like to hear what is going on with my generation. lol

erin,
ive only been lifting a couple of months now so i have not learned alot. but there are a couple of things i can pass on. 1st i am not 20 anymore and i should not try to be. do what you are able to do and dont give up you will improve.
second eat as much protein as you can and as little fat as is healthy. tuna with mustard { sounds bad is really quite good] chicken turkey and yougart are good examples.
if it doesnt have at least 10 grams of protein its not worth eating!!! they say you need at least 1 gram of protein per lbof body weight to build muscle mass
good luck take it easy and DO NOT GIVE UP!

about 5 years now. Feel great; but have never been in better
shape. Keep at it!!
