Hope someone can help me. My right forearm gives me some pain when I perform certain lifts but not on others. The lateral and front raises are the worst followed by preacher curls. It is pain free to do benches, military, lat pulls etc. When I make a fist and squeeze really hard it also hurts. I have no idea where this came from. Back in September I had a tumor removed from my left thumb and had to stop lifting for a few months. When I started back the pain was there. Any ideas?

You may want to go see a doc. In the meantime, use RICE therapy after your workout.

Oh, and when you do preacher or barbell curls, try putting your thumb underneath the bar and try not to bend your wrists on the way up.
