Okay, I need help if at all possible. While at the gym, I did leg presses, calve raises and leg curls. I was up all night with severe pain in the right lower hip next to the small of the back. It is only on my right side to the rear of the hip. Anyone had this before? Or know what it could be caused from?

erin,

perhaps it was the form? Foot placing and range of motion play a critical role in leg presses. Also the position of your lower back with proper support is important as well. I've had aches in my lower pain from doing leg presses incorrectly - that is why I ask.

if the pain continues you'll need to see a doc for sure
but hopefully it will go away with ice and rest.
you probably used a lot of weight in your exercises that day which translated to some abnormal after feeling..
all the same..the best thing you can do now is rest for a while

Thanks all, the pain has subsided. I think I will just lay-off the pressing of 265 pds for awhile.
