Tips on building a workout plan for two?

So I'm looking for help in building a workout plan for my significant other and myself. Right now I am pretty much at my ideal weight, but due to not working out consistently in years I have a lot of work to get back to the definition I want. I'm 5'9 and weight roughly 187lbs. My girlfriend and I both are wanting to slim/tone so obviously more reps less weight is the general consensus but it would be awesome if somebody could help me to come up with a specific gameplan that the two of us could utilize together.
