I have been doing cardio for the last 2 years to help me lose weight, and now I'm going to add strength training to help my metabolism and to add some sculpt to my arms and back. My question is: My cardio schedule is M-F mornings for 30 minutes. Should I shorten these workouts and add strength training or should I keep the same duration?

There would be no reason to shorten it. Keep doing the cardio, but you might find you will have to do it after the weights, due to fatigue. Keep in mind we are all different.
Good Luck

The trouble with jogging is that, by the time you realize you are not in shape for it, it is too far to walk back! Franklin P. Jones

if he means monday to friday for 30minutes, i think he should cut down. especially if he wants to build muscle, that much cardio can affect ur weight training.

what are ur stats? height, weight, etc...

Personally I see no need to cut down the cardio. I do two sessions of cardio everyday..a 10 minute session in order to warm up before strength training, and a 30 minute session after weights to burn the fat because during your workout you burn all the sugar so the body looks elsewhere. My advice would be to split that cardio into 2, 15 minute sessions before and after the strength training
