Hard to believe 2012 is here, still trying to grasp that. Some goals set are continueing to maintain the gym better, and not get sucked into medical problems, but also maintain yoga and dancing :)! Making working out fun makes it go by faster!

Hi Karen, sure does seem that 2011 went by quick.

Any kind of physical activity whether it's the gym, yoga or dancing is fantastic - the key is to stay active and you seem to have that in mind. And as you said making it fun or different really helps!

Keep up us posted on your progress and best of luck!

I'm getting married in October and I already got my dress. I'm hoping by August when I have to get my first fitting done I have lost some weight so that I can look perfect in my dress. Along with that I want to start taking better care of my diabetes. I have had it since I was 2 and I have found the healthier I am the easier it is to control.

I don't know if you have an Xbox but I have found that the Just Dance game is so much fun and I can easily burn calories while playing (: Best of luck!

It's scary that it actually works! :D Also yes! Its crazy how you can burn calories so easy. I want to go play it now haha! Best of luck to you also, and thank you:)!

I want to stick to eating healthy and try to exercise more regularly. I also want to go on more hikes and explore new trails. Thankfully, I have gotten my friend into going on these adventures with me, so I wont be alone!

Excellent.. good to plan ahead and to have someone along - makes it that much easier to stick with it. Key is small steps.. but to keep moving forward.

Welcome to the site and best of luck!

Hello Brit, welcome to FreeTrainers. You've come to the right place. If you follow the correct plan and stay active you should be losing about 1-2lbs per week, so your goal is well within reach. Remember, the key is to stick with it. Stick around, post often, ask questions and stay involved here.. it helps to keep you on track. And stay honest..

here its mid-summer and schools going to start pretty much 2m. im 16 and not really into sports but i am extremely into my skiing and in the winter im taking a 6 weekend + 4 day exam ski instructiors course so i want to be in top physical condition for that course. im not very fit and im generally un-motivated. so my goal for 2012 is to motivate myself, be in top condition for that course as well as improving my well being, looks and confidence =)
