Hello everyone, I'm a powerlifter Italian, personal trainer degree in sports side. I spent almost 4 weeks reattachment surgery for distal biceps tendon, damaged during the test deadlift competition.
After the operation my surgeon put me in a cast for 2 weeks, then by the third week I put a brace to 90 degrees. The surgeon said he did not ever move the angle of the forearm for 5 weeks. Reading various online information I have seen rather than active movement from 30 degrees of extension to 130 degrees of flexion passive can be done already by the third week.
I would like advice on what to do, respect the time of 5 weeks of complete immobility as I said the surgeon, or rehabilitation already started to do now? Thank you.
