FIRST OF ALL I'M VERY NEW TO DOING ANYTHING LIKE THIS(HAD A LONG FEW YEARS)...WHAT I WOULD EVENTUALLY LIKE IS TO BE TONED MORE ON THE BUILT LOOKING SIDE THOUGH,AND AS IT STANDS RIGHT NOW I'M THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE.I WAS TOLD THE BEST WAY TO GET THERE IS TO LOSE BULK WEIGHT FIRST,TONE UP,AND THEN BUILD UP.QUESTION 1# IS THAT REALLY THE BEST AND FASTEST WAY OF DOING THIS,IF NOT WHAT IS???...QUESTION 2#ALONG WITH HOME EXCERSISES AND EXCLUDING THINGS LIKE THE GYM,WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES WOULD YOU RECOMMEND DOING.PLEASE INCLUDE HOW LONG,FAR,OR HOW MANY OF WHAT IT IS YOU SUGGEST......THANX FOR YOUR IMPUT ON THIS...I'M SURE IT'LL HELP ALOT.......

First of all, I'm not sure how far you will go if you want to be built and you're doing home exercises. I tried that a few years ago and while I did put on some muscle, it's nothing compared to what I'm doing now, now that I've joined a gym. I'm not sure what would work best for you, but I know for me, the bulking up part would come first. This is because it is much harder for me to put on muscle. I never really understood why people do their cutting up first, since you will gain this weight back whenever you move into your mass building stage. Just my thoughts on it.
