The best way to increase your vertical jump is to make your hip flexors stronger. I first started out with ankle weights that I wore everywhere under my jeans. Jump squats are also very helpful with increasing your vertical. Good luck man!

I would agree that jump squats will be very beneficial to increasing your jump. Some basic exercises like squats, jump roping, and vertical jumps will have great results if you keep the hard work up.

Jump roping and just straight up jumping for 2 minutes will increase your vertical jump by inches over 1 season, just doing it for like 2 minutes a day. Your speed all has to do with your form. Picking up your knees higher will help you pick up more speed, and when doing sprints, gradually pick up speed rather than just burst into it and then die quickly. Picking up speed when doing sprints will help train your lungs, heart, and body better.
