Hi,
I am a new member and I need your help. About two weeks ago I tore my Bi muscle in my left arm as confirmed by the MRI. However due to $ being tight as well as being a working musician (keyboards) I can NOT have surgery. I have been moving it around and the bruises have started to go away. Using heat and I'm on anti-inflammatory. Range of motion is pretty good and the pain is minimal. I can only afford one physical therapy session which is
on Monday.

Will the tear eventually heal itself. Other than a 10-20% reduction in strength in the turning motion (like when you turn on the water in a shower) anything else I should know?

ANY advice would be most welcome!

Thanks very much,
Tom

Hello, recently had surgery for a torn distal bicep. I still have the gap in my arm near the elbow. Looks exactly as it did with muscle torn. I can see and feel the tendon and muscle when moving the arm so i know it is attached. Is this normal , or did the surgery not come out right?
