I searched the boards and could not find a specific answer on this.

My normal weight is around 180-190 lbs (5'11) but am at 220 currently. I will do HIIT 4 days a week.

QUESTION: Can I still do an arm/chest type of a workout on an off day or even before my HIIT or will that be over training and not get me the results I want?

I really don't want to lose a lot of mass in my arms...

It shouldn't be over training. Do the arms and chest training first, then HIIT. the HIIT 4 times a week might be overdoing it, though. I'd start out a little lighter, make sure you don't injure yourself.
Best of Luck!

If I can complete it no problem I don't know if that would be considered over training? I do 6 speed jog 9.5 speed "sprint" after 5 min warmup. I could go longer if I wanted at the same rate but I don't.
