right there with you, only I have 3 kids, all boys. I have the same problem, I don't lose weight easily either. I have a hard time keeping with a diet and workouts also, i tend to quit most of the time. this time I don't think that it will be possible for me to quit cause on here nobody will let you or me do that and they will help others stay or get back on track. If you think that you are slipping just get on here and say it. maybe get a buddy to help you as well.

It's a matter of replacing the unhealthy fatty foods with healthier food.
Don't look at it as a "diet" look at it as a healthy lifestyle. Whatever we eat is our diet. If you like crunchy stuff like chips, replace it with a hand full of raw cashews or almonds, an apple, you just need ideas.

try to think up other stuff to do instead of eating
lifting weights is a good start
knitting, reading
yoga would be great too

with 6 kids - maybe a game with one of them -- or walk around the block & get away from them for a few minutes(if they are old enough to be left alone)

I have been cutting down on my portion sizes but I am starving between meals. Should I eat more and what are some good quick snacks you can eat and curb my appetitie between meals
