Ok I was 160-165 2 yrs ago. Have fallen into depression and gradually hav gained the weight bac slowin thru out them yrs. I'm at 195-200 lbs. And I'm not happy at all. Just started workin out alil but its not the same. Its like the mor I do the less comes off. I alrdy pulled a muscle on my lower back so sit ups and crunches are out the question. =(I'm trying walkin hopefully I can start running soon. But I hav bad knees. I hope that maybe if I lose some weight my knees won't hurt as much. I just need some pro advice as what can I try that might work.=(

First of all, welcome to the site, you made the first step and what you need now is determination and some hard work, we all start some where.
Start with a good balanced diet, low fat, high fibre, also drink lots of water, have you tried swimming as an exercise, this wont hurt your knees the way running does, keep up the walking, slowly increasing your distance and speed, hope this helps.
