Hello i am having a hard time meeting my goal for calorie intake. I am attempting to lose weight and using the "Fat loss and Tone" diet. I am supposed to intake 550 gr of carbs, 250 gr of Protein, 44 gr of fat and 3650 calories. On average I've been lucky to make around 2100 calories, and that's eating 5-6 meals a day at an average of 350 a meal, i've found that if i try to take in more than 400 a meal i tend to eat 4-5 meals due to feeling like im overeating :( . Any suggestions on getting to at least 3k without blowing my fat intake.

How much do you weigh? For weight loss 3650 seems like a lot to me. Are you an athlete? Unfortunately this site often estimates high on calories for weight loss plans. A good rule of thumb for weight loss is 10-12 calories per pound of body weight , per day. You might just want to work on controlling your calories, and cutting out the bad stuff for starters, then eventually bringing the balances of calorie types to about where they should be.

When i started the program i was at 235, now im at 219...! Yes, there was NO way i was gonna make it to 3650 but i was shooting for at least 2500 to 3000 and still have issues. I'll try to throw out the 3650 number, but im still having issues as far as fat intake and Carbs...protein is no issue...i've always been of the mindset that good fats, i.e flax, peanut butter, avocados etc, off-set the bad ones, helping make up some of the kcals im missing. Any input on that?

If you're 219, to lose weight shoot for around 2500 calories. The amount of calories will keep going down as your weight goes down. Honestly, it's more about the amount of calories than it is about the type of calories. Just try to keep the diet as clean as you can. Don't get too wrapped up with "good fats" vs "bad fats" right now. Just try to keep the over-all fat calories down to around 20% of your calories.
