Hello all,

I am on the mass gain plan and WOW what a difference Some hard training makes!!! I want to start cardio But am not sure how to start. I was in the military 20 yrs ago and havent run since I got out. My goal is to lose the fat...Any ideas to get me started.

If your goal is fat loss, any form of cardio will work as long as you do it. I would say since you haven't run in such a long time, start out by power-walking and see how you react to that. If it feels easy, bump up the intensity to a slow jog. I would only do this for about 10-15 minutes, 1-2 times a week.

Also, if you have access to a treadmill then just pick a speed on the treadmill that you can handle, and then increase the speed or time to make yourself work harder once the initial phases become easy to you.
