Hello, my name is Brenda, I am 5'7" and I weigh about 210 now(I have already lost 6lbs). I have worked out off and on all of my life and now I am trying to do a continuous workout forever to lose and then maintain a healthy body. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these waist bands that claim to help you lose weight. I know that alone will not help me to lose weight but what if I wear it during the workout and then some throughout the day? I am curious if this will help me at all. I know that it probably will not but thought that maybe by some chance it might be of some help to me. I have a lot of fat around my waist from having 5 kids, the last two being just a couple of months ago and I want to get rid of that plus I want to be healthy and in shape not just for me but for my family as I have my hands completely full with 5 children all under the age of 7. I am doing really good on my workouts and I am working really hard on the diet to keep my calories as low as possible. I lift weights 6 days a week and I am trying to convert that to mornings rather than night and I am going to try to do cardio 4 days a week as well at least until I get rid of this fat that I have collected. Plus I need to build my heart and lungs stronger as well. I am using this sites free training to go by for my lifting but does anyone have any ideas about the band and my cardio or any other suggestions as well? I realize that this is going to take some time and I do not expect to get to where I would like to be over night and I have set small goals in between my big goal to help me get there but I am still looking for suggestions to boost me along. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Brenda.

For some waist band thing im pretty sure it wont do anything but i dont know what your talking about, you need to start eating healthy and start exercising. you should try to do 20-45mins of cardio on your cardio days and just stick with it

The waist band that I am talking about is kind of like rubber or something on the inside that actually touches your body. It basically makes u sweat and according to it package it helps burn calories by making u sweat. Anyway, I do eat healthy and I do exercise. My only concern with my exercises is that I do not want to over work my body. I can't afford to get sick or injured being that I have so many small children. Anyway, thanks for the reply. I don't figure that this waist band works anyway, i found it in some of my packed away things that I was going through. I don't even remember buying it but I have seen something like it before. Thanks again.
