So I'm canceling my gym membership because it's $40/month and I don't have the time to go anymore. In the past I lifted a lot, gained about 30lbs of muscle, and kept about 20 of it since I've stopped. Now though, I can't do many pull ups, push ups or dips, so I decided to start concentrating on body weight exercises at home. Lately I've been doing cardio every other day, so I plan to fill in the between days with the bodyweight work.
I plan on buying some 25 or 30lbs db's to double as push up bars and to do shoulders with.
I've got a pull up bar, though it's not wide enough for to do anything... well... wide.
I was wondering what you would recommend to get for forearms/grip (which I really want to get stronger), lower back, and for dips (I was thinking of just going to the playground nearby).
