I was wondering what a good wiehgt to start with is.

I was doing my own workout plain, working the upperbody doing bench press, recline and incline bench. dumbbell curls. I was doing like 15 lbs curls getting a set of 15 the jumping to 20 lbs and gets as many rep out of the next two sets. Should I start this new work out using my old wieghts or drop the wieght down so I can get 4 sets in even if I do not meet the reps?

Sorry if confusing
