I'm new to the board, I go to college and have access to a brand new huge gym, I am 6.1" and weigh 255 pounds my goal is around 200 pounds, my BMI is scary to me at 34, which I just founf out today. Any tips on what exercises I should do and not do, how much cardio I should do a day, and my eating habits are terrible, I eat twice a day in large portions and sometimes very late, as I am a college student.

If it at all possible try to spread out your eating as uch as possible to like 6 times a day so that your metabolism is always burning calories instead of just twice a day; other than that just try some light cardio in the morning (easy stuff like jumping jacks or something) just to help get started

I just graduated from college this past spring. I know how hard it is to maintain a consistent diet. I unlike you was trying to gain weight. Main thing is to cut alcohol and basically most college foods pizza, burgers, etc. You need to clean up your diet and do cardio. Easy things are to skip the bus and walk to class if you live on campus. Walking does a lot more for you than you think. Stick to the basics.

Okay so I wanted to give a summary of my day today and see if this would work?
Breakfast: I did not have Breakfast
Lunch: Had a wheat wrap filled with lettuce, tomato, onion, ranch, croutons, and diced chicken, plus a Kiwi Vitamin Water
3 PM- A chicken cordon bleu microwavable thing
7 PM- A small salad with lettuce and onion and kens ranch dressing
9 PM- A Oat n Honey nature valley bar (Are these good for you???)

But Im just finding myself hungry for one more thing, is that alright??

I went to the gym and did the same workout as freetrainers tells me, except on here it doesnt start till next week but im going to start this week.

As well as the elliptical for 35 minutes

and 5 minutes of running on a track?

Is this a good day, I thought initially I weighed 255, but Im actually 243, so good news haha!

You need to eat breakfast. I usually started out my day in school with bowl of oatmeal, two eggs and a protein shake. Lunch would be chicken and brown rice. I would always be munching on peanuts just to keep a good level of fat and protein.

That chicken cordon bleu most likely has tons of sodium which causes you to gain water weight. It seems like you do not eat enough. Try researching some diets. Everything will come down to that diet. It sounds a little redundant but you actually have to eat more in order to lose weight. Eating 5 - 6 smalls meals a day will keep your metabolism running high and provide enough energy to workout. If you do not eat enough your body will hold onto fat as much as possible.
