Lifting inbetween HIIC on a normal lif..

Greetings fellow body designers,
I have a question that needs your input and advise.
After leaving my regemt of being a cardio freak for a few months, I'm switching to cardio 3/7ths of the time, and heavy lifting 4/7ths of the time (i.e. 3 days cardio 4 days lifting with a few break days inbetween).
What I had been doing during my almost everyday crazy cardio sessions was lifting with high reps in between different cardio exercises.
My question is this: should I continue to do this light, high rep lifting in between on my cardio days, or, stop altogether lifting on the cardio days, and leave it just for the heavy lifting days?
My goal is to get lean and cut, and gain just a little more muscle mass.

P.S. My pic was taken 1 year ago when I was starving myself in Malawi and didn't have a mirror to see my results. Since then I've put on about 10 healthy pounds. I really need to get a new pic!
