I am doing an FT weight lifting program right now, and hyperextensions make the list every week. My back has gone out several times - it's been over a year since the last time, but the hyperextensions cause a lot soreness - and not the "got a good workout" soreness either. Is there an alternate exercise I could perform that would target the same muscle groups?
