Will keeping the resistance low in an exercise bike lower the calories burned???.....I fear that increasing the resistance would change the exercise to an anearobic one instead of aerobic....I want to burn the maximum amount of calories....so what should I do...keep the resistance low or high????

If you want to maximize your calorie burn, do a HIIT workout. On a bike you would warm up at an easy pace for 5 min. then do 1min intervals of high resistance/low resistance for 15-20 min., then cool down by riding at an easy pace for a final 5 min. This is the best way to get maximum calorie burn in minimum time. There is a lot of info on HIIT, so search it out if you need more info.

Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.
