When using the 54" resistance band for side laterals, I can not pull up level with my shoulders. Is it ok to work as far as I can with the idea that with the building of strength, I will eventually be able to pull level to shoulders or am I "waisting" the exercise because it is not the full movement and should do the side laterals without the band?

Alrighty then, I guess it's back to using the bottles of water for a while. :) Someday I will get a few dumb bells, for now it is bottles of water.
Thanks for your reply

how is the band set up? stepping on it with your foot or somthing?
Tie it to somthing taller so it doesn't get as taunt at the top..maybe that would help..but yes go full ROM

Yup, you step on the band. I think I'll set that one aside for now. Don't want to push my luck on feeling good by overdoing it at this point.
Thanks for the reply though.
