I have been taking 800 mcg of Chromium Picolinate every day ( 1/2 in the morning & 1/2 at night) for the past 4 months along with with powered fiber. I have seen very significant weight/fat loss. I am now concerned that I have reached a plateau. Any advice?

Do you really think it was the C.P.?? Look at your diet and your workout routine. Diet may need to be readjusted and raise the intensity of your workout.

KA is right. Chromium exhibits its best attributes by helping control blood sugars(actually increasing efficiency). This is where its 'diet' label comes from.

When should one take C.P? I read in the "body sculpting bible" book that it should be taken after working out, but if it deals with insulin i would think after eating...any ideas?

Okay, in case anyone else was wondering I found a site that said:

"Special instructions: Do not take with food or other supplements. Take chromium picolinate, nicotinate, or aspartate; chromium chloride is the least absorbable form. Avoid the form called glucose tolerance factor (GTF), a combination of chromium, nicotinic acid, and amino acids, which may vary so much in composition that it is not a reliable source."
