Hi guys,
I'm new here. I'm 18 and last time i checked I weighed 220, I think. I'm about 5'9, and I really wanna get down to like 170 or even 180 by January when I start school. Do you guys have any tips or anything?

To lose weight your first priority is realizing that it's going to involve a lifestyle change. Your dietary, sleeping, and training habits must all be altered and geared for success. Understand that you're in contol: you are the one that needs to take ownership in your failures as well as your successes. Disipline is key.

Check out the "Specific Diets & Nutrition Discussion" section for your dietary needs. If you can get your diet under control, the rest will be easy (or at least easier).
