So my nutrition plan says I should be getting about 31g of fat/day plus or minus 5g. My question is (and its probably obvious but I wanted to be sure) do good fats count towards this? I take Muscle Milk and although I have read that these fats are rarely stored and mostly burned for energy, there are 18g of fat in one shake. If I have two ounces of almonds (28 almonds roughly) that is 14g of fat. Again, I heard there is good fat in almonds and they are a good snack. Right there I have met my daily allotment and havent eaten breakfast lunch or dinner nor any in between snacks.

Can someone clarify for me?

Thanks in advance!

Get 6-8 gr. of Omega 3's. These far outweigh the importance of other fats. You could in fact concioulsy avoid Omega 6's for a year and probably still not be deficient.
