I have only been using creatine for 5 weeks and I can say I have seen more increases with strength than size, although I am happy with both currently.

creatine is to help with strength..so your able to lift slightly more..which ultimately could give you some muscle growth...whatever muscle gains you DO get while on creatine you wont loose once you stop taking it...however dont expect huge results...its just to give you an *edge* just like most supplements..

i just liked the way it made me feel stronger...

I also like the way it helps in recovery.

I am learning that creatine isn't just for people that want to gain muscle but also for thoughs that need or like the recovery aid it offers and of course the strength endurance it provides.

I use it even for cardio days!

If it does all the above then it's a top notch muscle preserver.

lilbreaka, I would say that if you are jsut starting to lift, then wait on the creatine.

I always took creatine as something to take when you seem to have to lifting tapper off and are struggling to make gains. Am I wrong in this assumption? Should more people be taking it? And what are some bad side effects if any from it?

ppl take it for a variety of reasons...some ppl get a bloating feeling from the creatine monohydrate..some dont...i am really liking the ceatine ethyl ester(CEE)at the moment.. no bloating for me..just feels right...

personally i would think taking just straight up CEE would be cheaper and still get the same effect...

i mean it does have some nice little bonus additives/supplements in it....but i still think your gonna be paying for a hyped up product...my .02

I like creatine alot and have always noticed strength and size increases while taking it......The only thing I dont like about it is when I stop using it I always lift less weight and get aggitated.
