Actually I'm pushing 59, but I am beginning again. Will be retiring the 19th of January, and will actually begin my fitness program the 22nd. (I'm a night nurse doing 12-hour shifts and I'm usually too exhausted to do much of anything.) My plan is to walk for about half an hour, then do toning and trimming workouts for another 20-30 minutes. I know I'll have to take it pretty slow for a while and work up slowly.

Is there anyone like me out there??

NurseBrandy...are you still out there? I am almost 57 and have started walking about 45 minutes a day, about 2 weeks ago. I am just now beginning to see a tiny difference, mainly in my energy level. I am not yet sure what sort of toning exercises to do though. What are you doing and how is it going for you? My biggest problem is belly fat from meds that I no longer need to take. Waiting to hear from you...
