I tried this...and its very uncordnated...I can't "rack" it so to speak over my head...

I griped it like for a dl...exsept hands over....and tried to snatch clean it. I about killed my self...even with the 55lbs.

So question should I just modify it to a "upright row" style clean....just extending it at the top at arms length?

Or keep arms locked whole time?

I'm trying to mimmic a "toss" for cheerleading....

Snatch help....but i don't hold the girls feet 3 1/2ft wide lol

Single arm snatch. Coach Boyle or whatever recommends close grip snatches, but if you've ever seen what his athletes consider a hang clean you'd realize he is the last person you want to take olympic lifting advice from.

Cleans, regular snatches, and high pulls should be more than enough.
