Working out in the morning

Due to my hectic schedule, I`m considering working out in the morning. However, I need to know is there anything I need to consider before changing my schedule around.

Let`s say I wake up at 5.30 and want to be able to workout the latest 6.3, will my body be ready for lifting weights in a such short time after 8 hrs of sleep.
I`ve heard some theories that it is better to wait 2-3 hrs after waking up.

If there`s nothing that I need to worry about what would be the best meal / shake that I need to consume before working out.

go ahead and workout in the morning....your testosterone is highest in the morning so you may actually get somewhat better gains...

only thing to keep in mind is that your body temp is lower in the mornings so I would do a bit more warm up sets or jog a bit before lifting....
