I just found this site tonight and thought I would see if anyone could help me. I used to be a competitive cheerleader and was extremely active. I have a 9 month old son and have gotten out of shape. I am not extremely overweight although I would like to shed a few pounds. I am 5'3 about 125 lbs. I work and go to school full time so the only time I can exercise is early in the morning. I have a treadmill and a bike, and a few weights. Could anyone give me some good tips on nutrion and exercise?
Thanks!

Watch what you eat. Diet is key when wanting to shed those extra pounds. Eating several small meals throughout the day, rather then a couple larger meals helps boost your metabolism. A food diary is often helpful to many. Recording everything you eat helps you realize, and control how much you are eating, and where improvements can be made.

As for exercise, do what you love most. You were once a cheerleader, is this something you can bring back into your life? When doing cardio, do whatever you are most comfortable with. Choosing activites that you enjoy, will enable you to stick with them much longer than you would with activities you can't stand doing.
