I'm doing treadmill everyday and I'm not losing weight in my stomach. I'm losing weight on my legs only. I'm also lifting weights. I'm trying to loose my gut and bulk up. What is I'm doing wrong?

Hey Dave. Being new here myself I'm by no means an expert but I've noticed that just doing cardio didn't help me lose much weight. I did notice a huge difference once I started watching my diet and started lifting weights according to what was recommended here.
How much lifting are you doing? Are you following the exercise program here? What does your current diet look like? You also might want to fill out your profile so some of the more experienced people can help you out.
Good luck and stick with it, results don't come over night!

Dave,
2 of the things that I have picked up on this site. 1) There is no way to spot reduce your fat. If your diet & training is correct, you will lose the fat, but it will come off your body wherever it wants. 2) It is pretty much impossible to cut & bulk at the same time. My suggestion is that you decide which is more important right now and do that. For instance, cut (eat less calories w/ the correct macros) for 8 weeks and lose some fat, then bulk (eat more calories w/ the correct macros) for 8 weeks to put on muscle. I'm sure that some of our more educated people can get into more detail if needed. Good luck!

Are you just doing Cardio? You must incorporate proper eating and a good weight training program like the "Weight Loss and Definition" program on here. And like the others said, you can't spot reduce. Our bodies shed fat something like an onion skin. Of course it will be noticed first on the leaner areas.
Please fill out your profile.
