Hi all, some stats first:

21yr old female, 5'5, 110lbs, have a job where I am sitting apprx 60hrs-70hrs per week (will go down to 45 in december)

I saw a personal trainer at work and this is the routine that she gave me. I have never been to a gym before this and was very inactive until now.

stretch

3 sets / 15 reps of a 40lb seated row
3 sets / 15 reps ball crunches
3 sets / 15 reps ball sit-ups
3 sets / 15 reps / 8lb of 2 diff types of weight lifting (sorry I forget the names)

Then I do 25-30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical (apprx 165 heartbeats per min).

I work shift work so I do these at odd times (anywhere from 11am to 4am), but 3 days per week. What do you think?

*My goal is to become a police officer (I am a dispatcher right now so thats why I sit)... the fitness is my only obstacle!!

Ps I forgot to say, obviously weight loss is not an issue for me. I am trying to build strength and stamina when doing cardio, thanks
