Hi, i kinda got one main goal and thats becoming strong as a bull, or you can say, i wana compete in Powerlifting one day, anyone got any tip what kinda exersise i should shoot for, i just need what kinda lifts i should go for and the number of sets and reps i can figure out my self. im new btw so im open for all kinda awnsers =).

ive been into powerlifting in 2 years now and bb in 1 year my weight is 140 ibs and i am 18 years old im 180 cm tall,
Just wanted to tell something about my self so ya dont need to ask about that hehe.

Powerlifting = Bench, Squat, Deadlift

Your goal should be to increase these lifts if you want to start powerlifting. A great and efficient way to train is the "Westside" conjugation methods. Look at the sticky posts at the top, and they should guide you all the way. My 2 cents

oh, nice post=). i kinda got a few questions about that. do u get all around strong with these 3 lifts? and how do your body builds any mass with these 3 lifts?

You obviously want to do some other exercise to supplement the 3 main lifts...the point is that those are the 3 that count...when the competition time comes...

I would supplement the big 3 with goodmornings, dips, military presses, close grip benches, chin/pull ups, bent over rows.....i am sure there are other big lifts that can help....mostly variations of the big exercises...

Your body builds muscles through proper lifting and good NUTRITION....u build mass/size/strength at home when u eat and sleep....in the gym u destroy and punish ur body....
