Sapp is strong but he gasses pretty easy. I have seen fighters that beat him in the later rounds if they can withstand his initial attack ( a big if ). He is kind of like TAnk Abbott from the UFC. Alot of strength but runs out fast

Sapp is a tank. Always has been, always will be. It embarasses me to see him represent the USA in pride competition. He's a showboat to the japanese fans, they think he's hilarious. At least tank abbott knows what to do with his hands.

I have heard that working chest and tricep on the same day leads to size reduction of the arms. Is it true.

I should point out that by tank, I do not mean unstoppable, I mean that he tanks quite often.

And just in case anyone is interested, the last time I heard he was about 350lbs lean, looking to gain MORE weight, so that fighters can't get their arms around him.

Maybe he should spend more time on the mat and in the training room, rather than in the weightroom and kitchen.

Fair enough... But let's say a guy like him with his size and athletic ability can get his fighting skills up to a real class act.. It's gotta be hard to stop a punch or a push from a guy of that size..?

The guy who beat bob sapp...
Which one? Who hasn't beaten him? His record is far out of date on the link you posted yxven.

I hear this everyday; "If he brought up his fighting skills, and became athletic..."

NEVER going to happen. People have been saying this for years... The only reason he holds a pride contract is because he is entertaining. I'm all for gettin bigger and stronger through a proper lifting regime and lots of food... But you have to realize that at some point, as a professional fighter, you will reach a point of diminishing returns. Then its time to get on the mat and polish your skills.

Size and strength can only carry you so far.

Japan also like him, cause he's just big and massive and has no technique really....he's like godzilla over there.

I used to like to grapple...conditioning...9 times outta 10 will win out.

I know this is an old tread but have you seen The Korean Fighter by far the tallest K1 fighter. Just like The Beast no technique but he has never been put down on his knees I think. And his fists are like the size of Bob Sapps head.
