Best way to Look cut for the summer?

I was reading a Mens Journal yesterday at the Barber. They had an article about the fastered way to "look" ripped. They said they usually only focus on health gains, but for the summer they had some tips for if you just want to look cut fast. It sugguested doing "Drop weight" exersizes. Start with weight you can lift with perfect form for 6 reps then drop it down 5-10 pounds and do another set. Keep doing this until you can do 20 reps of the weight and you're done.

Can anyone comment if this is an effective weight to increase size fast? That of couse includes a health diet.

Whoops I mean drop sets, not drop weight. :)

It's one of several shocking type moves but I wouldn't recommend doing them as the everyday workout. The easiest way to look cut for the summer is to start the winter that way. :)
