I''m 16, 5'2, and i weigh 150. from looking at me, you wouldn't guess that i weigh that much. i'm not fat..not chubby..and i'm definitly not skinny. i'm just kind of in some awkward in between area..

all of my fat is stored in my thighs and my arms. (for the most part.)

i've been working out a lot lately. as in, running, lunges, crunches, squats, and jump rope, every day afterschool for close to a month now. i don't drink anything but water and i don't eat a lot of sugars. but i can't seem to loose any weight..if anything, i've gained four pounds since i've started working out.

i've talked to my doctor about what to do, and all he ever says is to eat more fruits//vegetables and get out more. but it's not working..

i feel like i'm making the right food choices and staying active with no results. which is making me want to have a box full of famous amos and some coke. lol.

any suggestions?

Welcome to FT kimtastic...

First, fill out your profile.

Second, how much are you eating a day? Are you getting enough, not too much? Five or six small meals a day is what you are after ideally.

Third, the four pounds you've gained may be muscle. Are your clothes fitting differently? Grab a tape measure and do some quick measurement and compare at a later date to see if there are any changes.

How many days a week are you working out? I'm guessing about five?

Hope some of that helps!

Depends what your routine is... if it's a full body... day on, day off, day on day off...

Wny not pick a routine from here? It's free and sets the days for you...

Nope. But with pro you can swap exercises within the plan.
