I am currently trying to loose my last 25 pounds. I do alot of working out but now I'm stuck.
Exactly how much cardio do I need...and when weigt training for tone should you start with little weight your first reps and add on for each set? I am now doing 4 sets of 20 reps with some things and haven't aquired being able to do but about 3 sets of 15 on others. I get into a routine but have heard that you need to constantly put your body into shock to keep it from getting "used to " a routine. I have been working out now for a couple of months and lost 20 pounds and about16-20 inches. Dieting is confusing as well. I am not one who can stay on a diet which restricts me from eating certain things. I am 5'3 and currently weigh 153. I have some what of a stocky build. One part which concerns me is loose skin. I do have a good deal on my tummy (children and c-sections) this has even after the weight loss still causes problems with clothing. Help!

You are training way too light...this is an outdated form of training...

stick to reps of 5-8 ...

do maybe 3-5 sets of 8...and stick to 3 basic compound exercises per workout...do 2-3 lifting workouts a week...

Squats
Dips
CHin Ups

Deadlifts
Leg Raises
Twists

Military Presses
Bent Over Rows
Hyperextensions

do HIIT cardio workouts....3-4 times a week....20-30 minutes of the most intense cardio cycles u can handle....ie... try to extend the time u are spriting/running or decrease time u are recovering/jogging/walking...and/or increasing the overal duration of this workout....start at 15-20 min and work upwards...tho probably dont go over 30 minutes....

cut calories by maybe 200-300 and see how things go...watch your energy levels and other body signs...to make sure u're eating adequately..

I recommend fish oil supplement while dieting to spare muscle...

skin elasticity is genetic...it may adjust on its own or u may need surgical procedure....
