i have just decided to become more fit, i want to lose some body weight before i start toning myself up. i am currently doing a 30 to 45 minute jog each day aswell as swimming for 30 minutes twice a week. my current diet consists of oats for breakfast, a small salad for lunch and a chicken salad for dinner. Do you think this would be enough for me to lose weight and how much weight would i lose say in 6 weeks?

In my opinion, two things will help in fat loss. First you stated that you do cardio but no weight training. You will need to add weights. That will help with the fat loss. Muscle burns more calories. Second, I think that you are not eating enough. you should have 5-6 small meals per day spaced approx 3-4 hrs apart. Each meal should include protein, good carbs and good fats. Your daily ratio should be around 50% protein - 30% carbs - 20% fat. There are alot of other on the website that know alot more than I do so if I am incorrect, they will correct me. Good luck
