I am 6'2", 235 lbs. I have an athletic build, but like most men I could stand to lose some around my waist. I have read post stating that weight training is more effective than cardio, for long time fat burning. That is a theory that I readily accept. My ony question is a what is the best way to battle the bulge in the stomach? Diet/cardio/suppliments? Please help!
You understand correctly but it's a combination of all those things. As you've probably already read on here and other places, it's primarily diet. Weight training helps you develop that lean muscle that is more efficient at burning calories, both during and after the work out. Do a quick search in the bottom of the screen and you'll find dozens if not hundreds of answers to that question.
