ok body pump is a group fitness class where u do multiple reps, at different counts to music. seperate song for seperate major muscles. I have been doing this class for a couple years now and the gym changes the routine and music every 2mths or something like that and i have just started to up my weights. basically i'm sticking with moderate weights for the majority of the track (song track) and when theres a 10sec break to stretch the muscle (before the end of the track) i load on another couple kgs for that 'grit ya teeth and go through the pain' type finish. ther's only like a minute to go before the end of the set and most of that is doing singles. (as in a single count)

my question is what effect will this have on my body and is it safe to add more weight at this point as the muscles are pretty much fatigued?

thx
