I am a 24 year old woman 5'8 and 150lbs. I recently started going to the gym and found out how out of shape I am. I would appreciate any imput on the best way to gain muscle tone and resistance without loosing too much weight. Thank You!

I suggest doing big freeweight exercises 3 times a week....
3 sets of 10 reps with 45 sec rest
Mon:
Deep Squats
Chin ups or using pulldown station
Military presses
Wed:
Dips
Rows
Shrugs rising up on your toes
Friday:
Romanian Deadlifts
Incline Bench Press
Pull Ups/ or using cable Pulldown station
Look into eating many smaller meals 5-8 times daily(including healthy snacks)....read up on the healthy foods to eat in the nutrition section...
take fish oil supplement 6-10 g per day...3g morn and 3g night...
