I have been following the 'Weight loss and Toning' program very strictly for a month now and I love being a part of Freetrainers, reading its posts and keeping track of my regimen. Besides this, I have also been doing Cardio 5 days/week for 30 minutes each with HIIT.
Problem - By Jupiter!! NOT EVEN a half-pound reduction in my weight!
- Calorie intake first 15 days: 2400 ( P:C:F = 155:455:45, roughly )
- Reduced intake next 15 days : 2100 ( P:C:F = 155:285:40, roughly )
Although my weight lifting capacity has doubled in every muscle group since past 1 month (and chest has broadened), Waist reduction (from 34 to 32) and weight reduction (from 188lbs to atleast 175lbs, Height 5'11") is my primary motive. I am hoping for a loss-rate of atleast 2-3 lbs/month.
I know about Muscle being heavier and fat loss not muscle loss being the target, but if i can't acheive a leaner waist or lesser weight, is my purpose served? I am not planning to drop exercising any time soon but I would just like some more support and info on this dilemma and how much more patient do I have to be. Thanks a million guys!
